To date, we have created and donated over 400 care kits to individuals and families in need—and we're just getting started.

Our Story

Sana and Sadaf founded Smile and Soar with a heartfelt mission: to restore dignity, comfort, and care to underserved communities, especially refugees, women, and families experiencing homelessness. Sparked by their Afghan heritage and shaped by years of volunteer work, they saw firsthand how many families were silently struggling without access to even the most basic hygiene or warmth.

Moved by these realities, they began assembling care kits from their own homes, each one filled with essential hygiene products, dental care items, warm blankets, and a handwritten message of hope. What began as a small act of service has since grown into a grassroots movement of kindness and action.

To date, Smile and Soar has created and donated over 400 care kits across shelters, refugee centers, and underserved communities. Our mission is grounded in compassion, cultural connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and cared for, no matter their circumstances.
